Vineyards(s): Multi-regional blend primarily Coal River Valley (Tolpuddle, Uplands) and NW Tasmanian (White Rock).
Vintage notes: A vintage with all sorts of everything from bushfires to frosts and rain during flowering, with drought conditions on the east coast. Overall, however, conditions were drier than usual, and both the quality and quantity of grape yields were excellent.
Use of reserve wines: The initial blend contained 3.5 % of reserve wine from 2010. At disgorging, the liqueur d’expedition included a tiny proportion (0.3%) of wine from the 2025 vintage.

Tasting note: The prettiest of pale pinks in the glass with a fine, bright bead and mousse. Aromas of red apple, raspberry and citrus with hints of apple turnover, sea spray, clover blossom, clotted cream, mushroom broth and crushed stone. Expansive, with raspberry shortbread tones on the palate and a gloriously stony, dry finish that shows ample mineral drive and precision.
